SUMMARY:

The World Health Organization on January 30, 2020, constituted the outbreak of the new corona virus, and in March 2020 characterized the disease as a pandemic. In this context, prenatal care remains an essential service during pregnancy, in which the mother and baby are monitored by a health service, which allows the woman to identify problems early in pregnancy and ensure a healthy delivery. Understand the daily life of pregnant women during the pandemic. This is a research with a descriptive, exploratory, qualitative and transversal approach. Pregnant women, in any period of pregnancy, will be included in the study, and minors and women who have a hearing impairment or a disability that impairs the understanding of the interview will be excluded. The sample will be limited by the method of theoretical saturation of responses. The collection of semi-structured interviews will take place during the month of July, August and September 2020, by means of recording the statements. Information will be collected at the José Xavier da Silva Basic Health Unit in the municipality of São Bento do Trairi-RN, in a reserved room at the unit. The information will be presented through genogram and ecomap. An exhaustive and repeated reading of the texts will be carried out, and, after creating categories that include elements or aspects with common characteristics or that are related to each other, as Minayo deals with the organization of data. The analysis will be composed by authors related to the theme.
