SUMMARY:

From the point of view of the medium, the oral interview is a text genre of orality, since it is phonically broadcast. However, from the point of view of its discursive conception or style (cult and/or formal), this genre transits the continuum of orality and scripturality, showing affinities both with orality, for example, in relation to the high degree of cooperation (possibility of intervention in the discourse) and dialogicity (exchange of conversational roles), as well as with scripturality, for example, with regard to its public and planned character, which raises verbalization strategies such as high lexematic variation and informational density, among others. As a consequence, the production and reception of this text genre demands complex strategies for recognizing the conditions of communication and linguistic structures appropriate to the situation. In this sense, the work with the interview in the classroom contributes to the acquisition and construction of a representation of a public role that is different from the private identity of the interlocutors and different language skills (SCHNEUWLY/DOLZ, 2004). The present study seeks to develop a proposal for a pedagogical intervention to expand the oral discursive competence of students from the 5th. year of Elementary School using retextualization activities of the genre interview. The theoretical-methodological tools come from the Discourse Traditions Model (KOCH, 1997; KOCH/OESTERREICHER, 2007 [199]; KABATEK, 2006, among others), from Text Linguistics (COSERIU, 2007; MARCUSCHI, 2008; 2010) and from the Geneva Group (DOLZ/NOVERRAZ/SCHNEUWLY, 2004; SCHNEUWLY/DOLZ, 2004, among others). In the first phase of the project, of an interventional nature, a didactic sequence with retextualization activities will be developed based on the text genre oral interview, which will culminate in the production of an oral interview with members of the school community about the theme "Pandemic Experiences" and its written retextualization, to be published in e-book. In the second phase, of an interpretative character, the execution of the proposal will be reported, as well as the oral and written productions will be analyzed in relation to their location in the continuum of orality and writing, in order to verify the impact of intervention in the expansion of students' oral discursive capacity.
