TALE AND THEATER IN THE 9º YEAR - A PROPOSAL OF ACTION BASED ON EDGAR ALLAN POE ACCOUNTS.
Tales of terror. Theater. Edgar Allan Poe. Literary reading.
At the same time that the existence of literature in the school environment decreases, we see intensified discussion about the student's formation as a reader and about the responsibility of the school in this process. In this sense, it is necessary for the teacher to encourage the student to understand the importance of reading and to be able to walk through the world of literature making his own choices, out of sheer satisfaction. Thus, we intend to develop a didactic-pedagogical practice through a didactic sequence (COSSON, 2016) which provides the relationship of the ninth year students of the Elia de Barros State School with the genres of Edgar Allan Poe's horror tales and theater. Our proposal aims to promote students' creativity and orality through literary reading and dramatization practices, as well as providing students with participation in theatrical exercises which increase oral and corporal expression skills. In order to support our action project we will be supporting Candido (1999), Compagnon (2009), Cortázar (1993), National Curricular Parameters (1997), Rosenfeld (2006), Todorov (2009) and Zumthor (2007).
