RESUMO:

The cementing is one of most important operations performed during the fase of construction of an oil well, because has the goal to seal permeable zones and provide support to the casing string. Depleted zones of interest or with low pressure of fracture requires slurries cementing of low density. Traditional methods to produce lightweight slurries cement including the formation of foam, the use of glass hollow microspheres or lightweight additives. The purpose this work is studying lightweight slurries cement by use of air incorporator. With the presence of the polyurethane increases the tenacity of the cement paste and thus, support thermomechanical cycles and improve the properties. In addition to present excellent results filtrate control, free water, porosity and permeability, contributing to reducing gas migration through cement sheath.The concentrations of incorporator chose was suggestion of providers. From of a density calculated 1.87 g/cm3 (15.6 lb/gal) to a pattern slurry, pastes with incorporator and polyurethane were prepared. An experimental planning was previously performed to improve the evaluation of effects of additives used. Tests of density, stability, mechanical strength and permeability were performed and attained the requirements of Petroleum Institute (API) and Brazilian Association of Technical Norm (BATN). Was observed a decreasing of density with increase of concentration of air incorporator. The compression strength increased with the incorporation ofair, in fact this event was waited due to the formation of bubbles, but the values are compatible with lightweight slurries. The tests of permeability were satisfactory, showing low values, that is a positive point. It was concluded that the use of air developer is viable with the polyurethane in lightweight cement pastes and oil well it is possible to obtain consistent results for conditions in formations with low fracture gradient.
