Reflections on the contemporary world in its constant change point to generations increasingly immersed 

in a digital culture (BARATTO, CRESPO, 2013) and the need for a new pedagogical practice or even the need t

o rethink our school pedagogical practices. Are technologies present in the training process of Physical Education

 teachers? If yes, what are your contributions? This study aims to characterize the contributions of technology 

in the training process of the Physical Education teacher in initial training. The (auto)biographical narrative 

as a methodological strategy makes it possible to perceive the peculiarities that involve the process 

of higher education. Considering the possibilities of technological means in our training path, as possible results, 

it seems interesting to us that the Physical Education teacher relates to manipulative, critical and productive 

aspects regarding this theme, permeating his entire process of initial and continuing education. 

Despite access to technological artifacts, the lack of a good internet service has several implications 

in the training process. This research is in progress, for the defense of the dissertation we will present 

the possible confirmation of the results and the final considerations.
