PHYSICAL EDUCATION, HEALTH AND TECHNOLOGY: CONNECTIONS FROM DIGITAL AND INTERACTIVE PARADIDACTIC MATERIAL
School Physical Education; Health; Technology.
The present study starts from the historical and disturbing relationship between physical education (PE) and the use of teaching materials, reaching debates on health education across all PE thematic units placed in the Common National Curriculum Base (BNCC), given the historical relevance of this theme for Physical Education. It is under this excitement that our research develops problematizing the possibility of implementing an artifact that is unusual in the tradition of school PE – the textbook – in health education, crossing all thematic units of the curricular component at the BNCC. It seeks to answer the following question: how is the didactic-pedagogical process of teaching the health theme in school Physical Education based on the use of digital and interactive textbooks? The study has as general objective to understand the strategies of teachers at elementary school II to teach the health theme in Physical Education classes from digital teaching material. It is research with a qualitative approach and exploratory nature. The exploratory stages take us to three steps. The first, descriptive in nature, exposes the process of idealization, writing and presentation of a digital and interactive educational book. The second, also descriptive, presents the contact with PE teachers from the public education network in the city of Natal/RN. While the third stage, which is a content analysis, on the data collected from the focal groups of teachers from the municipal public education system in the capital of Rio Grande do Norte (planning, classes and semi-structured interviews). In this phase, we will follow the three phases of the operationalization of the thematic analysis proposed by Minayo (2007): a) pre-analysis; b) exploration of the material; and c) treatment of results. The group consists of 4 teachers and a teacher who will be presented in the text as fictional characters from the Star Wars universe.
