MEANING OF BODY PRACTICES AND THE HEALTH IMPLICATIONS FOR USERS OF THE FAMILY HEALTH STRATEGY

This research addresses the lived world of users related to body practices in the context of Primary Health Care. The general objective is to understand the meanings of body practices and their implications for the health of users of the FHS of Limoeiro do Norte / CE. The proposal to map the body practices offered in the service, identify the reasons for participating in the group of body practices, how they feel when performing them and the meanings attributed by users in carrying them out and the discussion of the implications of body practices for the characterize our specific objectives. The methodological approach was focused on the phenomenological method of Merleau-Ponty, based on the narratives of nine users who perform bodily practices at the Pequeno Atirador Family Health Unit, based on a semi-structured interview. The users' reports allowed us to interpret the perception about the attributions of the meanings of the corporal practices and the connecting thread connected to it. Affective bonds, entertainment, the recognition of public policies as care practices, the dialogue between body practices and health, expanding the intersubjective scope of perceptions about the body.
