SUMMARY:

The present work casts its gaze at the physical education of school in the city of Picos-Piauí, especially for the high school curriculum of the state public schools of the city that until then, this document of the teachers was neglected. Here, therefore, I sought, collaboratively, to elaborate a curriculum with the direct contribution of seven of the ten teachers of the network and the level of education mentioned above. The work presented here is justified by the disorganization of applicability of contents and the amount of repetition of it, leading students to lose stimulus by practice and theoretical teachings that the discipline brings with it. It is worth mentioning the ways that led to the elaboration of the same: initially a structured interview was made with the students of the said level of education of 4 schools of the state public network of Picos-PI, in order to answer what they would like to learn from physical education in school, their answers were taken into consideration and applied in the contents detailed and organized bimonthly for the application and control of the teacher. In addition to the students, the teachers of the network also participated, sending their teaching plans, which our secretary of education calls the "Action Plan" for reading, interpreting and subsequent elaboration of the curriculum. To be practical and objective, after observing the plans it was possible to identify that the teachers worked basically the same content, only in different months what ends up leading some students to repeat the content when they were forced to change schools, from one year to the other or in the same school year. The objective of the preparation of the curriculum is to systematize the teaching of physical education for the three years of high school in the state schools of the city in order to improve the quality of teaching in it, changing, transforming and resignifying a reality that has been erroneously rooted for years. Divided into four chapters this work aims to solve the main problem currently of physical education in the city. In chapter I: School Physical Education: memories and trajectory in the field of study aims to demonstrate how and why I got here, what motivations and clashes found as well as to demonstrate the challenges and possibilities found to apply in the daily life of school. In later chapters II, III and IV, I systematized the curriculum of the three high school grades, respectively 1st, 2nd and 3rd grades, organized bimonthly, giving the teacher the possibility of adapting to the school routine. In final considerations, I explanned what had been achieved, what were the obstacles encountered and what advantages the students and teachers of physical education of the state public school of the city of Picos-PI will have with this document.
