RESUMO:

This dissertation approached the relations of the body that is built in the body practices developed in a Psychosocial Care Center III of Ceará countryside. To this end, the general objective was to reflect on this body construction with a view also to identifying relationships with the subjects' health care. We also sought to map the body practices developed in CAPS III; identify the contributions of body practices to the body building of practicing users; and discuss these bodybuilding contributions to health care. We used a semi-structured interview with six practicing users following a script with ten questions about body related to body practices, such as changes, feelings, perceptions about themselves, etc. In addition, photos, videos and the appropriation of a field diary were used, which was fundamental in the insertion of the researcher from May to August 2019. The six users are day patients of the service and participate in different body practices in their care, which are under the responsibility of various professionals: Pedagogue, Nurse, Social Worker, Psychologist, Physical Education and Occupational Therapist together with Artisans. For the interpretation of the discourses, it took the phenomenology in Merleau-Ponty (2011), more specifically the situated phenomenon, which emphasizes four basic foundations: the lived world, the phenomenological reduction, the intentionality and the phenomenological description. Thus, the work is divided as follows: In the first chapter we dealt with the Historical Aspects of Mental Health and the relationship with body building, which refers to how the “crazy” body image was constructed, its ruptures and continuities to date. The second chapter deals with historical aspects of mental health in the research setting, followed by a mapping of body practices developed in the study's CAPS. The third chapter emphasizes Body Practices and Body Building and has three units of meaning: The construction of the medicated body; Body Building for Pleasure/Fun; and The Construction of the Protagonist Body. The fourth chapter discusses Body Practices, Body and Health Care, from the perceptions under the body in motion, and which has two units of meaning: Understanding Health Care; and Perceiving the Body through Body Practices. In general, we note that practices effectively participate in the construction of the individual and social body. In general, the notes suggest that CAPS and its observed practices seek to develop the readaptation of bodies from their ways of seeing the world. That is, they try to make the subject adapt to their ways of being in the current reality, considering that they use the knowledge seized by the body in movement to other social media. For this, it is emphasized in the foreground, the recognition of itself: its difficulties and potentialities, which also demands knowledge of the needs of each user of the service, among other things.
