The Serious game can be understood as an innovative approach in the area of health education and stands out when compared to other media. It is considered a type of Educational Technology, which are understood as tools planned and developed based on scientific knowledge, used as educational material to facilitate the teaching-learning process. Currently, these games are used to address various health conditions. The importance of these games in the health sector is even more highlighted when considering Chronic Non-Communicable Diseases, which represent a significant group of diseases both nationally and globally, being responsible for the greatest burden of morbidity and mortality in the world. Within this group, cancers, especially hematological cancers, emerge as a prominent category. In this sense, patients undergoing hematopoietic stem cell transplantation stand out. This therapy is recent and has a high potential for morbidity and mortality due to its complications. In the meantime, this study establishes the following guiding question: which contents are valid to compose the prototype of a Serious game for health education for patients undergoing hematopoietic stem cell transplantation? Thus, the objective is to develop the content of the prototype of a Serious game for health education for patients undergoing hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. The study will have a quantitative methodological approach. To this end, it will be based on the framework proposed by Pasquali et al (2010), which covers a set of three procedures: theoretical, empirical and analytical. To carry out the theoretical procedures, two scope reviews will be prepared to elucidate the Serious games that were developed for patient health education and to map the relevant themes for the construction of the content that will make up the educational resource. In empirical procedures, in turn, the results from content mapping will serve to compose the Serious game Game Design Document and selection of the topic covered. In addition, the selection process of judges will take place to validate content through the Lattes platform. Still at this stage, the Delphi technique will be carried out using an electronic form on the Google Forms platform. Finally, in the analytical procedures, the calculation and analysis of content validation coefficients and level of agreement will be performed. The study will be submitted for analysis by the Research Ethics Committee of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte and will only begin after a favorable opinion. The study is expected to contribute to the health education of patients undergoing hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, providing patient involvement in an interactive and meaningful way.
