SUMMARY:

Nursing work as part of the health work process aims to provide comprehensive care to citizens. It has as object the individual, family or group with its and singularities, it uses instruments, knowledge and conducts as means of work and as a product the care itself that is produced and consumed simultaneously. Summarizing the above, nursing as a profession has the care of human beings as the central focus of its work, in all its complexity, and it is on this care that nursing produces knowledge and technologies to support the disciplinary field that underlies the profession. Therefore, the study aims to analyze the employment relationships for nurses in the five regions of Brazil. This is an analytical-descriptive, exploratory research, comprising a time series, on the employment relationships of nurses in the five regions of Brazil. This study will be carried out using the database available on the Annual Social Information Report website and will be defined according to the employment relationships of nurses in Brazil. The data obtained in the report will be extracted to a database built in Excel Microsoft Office Software. As for the analysis, treatment and temporal distribution, it will be carried out by exporting the database for descriptive and inferential appreciation through Software R version 3.2.1. The temporal trend analysis will be carried out in two stages: the Durbin-Watson test to assess the autocorrelation of the historical series and exploratory analysis using the autocorrelation function (ACF). The polynomial models that will be tested in this research consist of: simple linear regression, then the second degree or parabolic will be analyzed and finally, the third degree and exponential. It is also considered that the significance test will be adopted as a criterion for choosing the model and that the trend will be considered significant when p-value is ≤ 0.05.
