SUMMARY:

Entering higher education is a time marked by several changes in the lives of university students, such as leaving their hometown, financial difficulties, frustrations in the educational process, leading to the emergence of physical and emotional disorders, which can favor the development of behaviors risk to your own health. In this context, the NANDA International nursing diagnoses stand out: Risky health behavior, Sedentary lifestyle and Overweight. These diagnoses are frequent in university students, given the transitions experienced and the fragility of their health care during the undergraduate course. Thus, as a way of minimizing damage to the health of university students, nurses can benefit from care-educational technologies in the promotion of care. Thus, the objective is to validate care-educational technologies for the nursing diagnoses Risky health behavior, Sedentary lifestyle and Overweight in university nursing students, aiming to promote the health of these young people. This is a methodological study to be carried out in two stages. The first stage consists of the construction and apparent and content validation of care-educational technologies aimed at the nursing diagnoses Prone behavior and risk, Sedentary lifestyle and Overweight in health students, based on a focus group. The second stage will be the analysis of the knowledge of university nursing students before and after the application of care- educational technology, through an experimental study of the randomized clinical trial type. This proposal is linked to the research group on Care Practices and Epidemiology in Health and Nursing and the research line on technology of the Graduate Program in Nursing. The project will be approved by the Research Ethics Committee of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, respecting all ethical premises for studies with human beings. Thus, it is expected to contribute to the production of knowledge in Nursing and the promotion of the health of university nursing students.
