The "student craft" is configured by new experiences and challenges, the impact of the new reality and obligations can trigger a series of problems in the newly admitted student. Physical and mental impairment influence academic development, affecting pass rates, and can manifest itself through absenteeism, dropping out and dropping out of the course. As they have a great influence on the health of young people, university spaces are strategic environments for the development of actions to promote the health of these students. For this, the use of tools is important to facilitate the approximation, interest and collaboration, especially among young people. Thus, the project aims to analyze the technologies and their contributions to the health promotion of university students. The study is a Scoping Review (SR) based on the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) and based on the proposal of Arksey and O'Malley (2005). For the development of the project, the recommendations of the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyzes (PRISMA-ScR) protocol were also adopted. The PCC strategy of the study was adopted: P (population) – university students; C (concept) – technologies; C (context) – health promotion. The research questions being “What are the types of technologies used in the university context? And what are its advantages and limitations for the health promotion of university students?”. The eligibility criteria defined were studies whose research participants were students at higher education institutions and who were included in some health promotion activity. In addition, researches available in full, in electronic media free of charge, in Portuguese, English and Spanish, without temporal delimitation were used. Excluding studies in editorial format, letter to the editor, theoretical essays, reflection studies, opinion articles and duplicate studies in the databases. The bases selected for the study were: Medline/Pubmed; Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature (CINAHL); Web of Science; Latin American and Caribbean Literature on Health Science (LILACS); BDENF; Scopus; Cochrane, SciElo, Education Resources Information Center (Eric), Catalog of Theses and Dissertations of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (Capes), The National Library of Australia's (Trove), Academic Archive Online (Diva), Digital Access to Research Theses (Dart), Europe E-Theses Portal, Electronic Theses Online Service (EThOS), Open Access Scientific Repository of Portugal (RCAAP), National ETD Portal, Theses Canada and Google Scholar. For the selection, collection and organization of studies, EndNote and Rayyan software will be used. Data collection will be carried out between July and August 2022. The data will be grouped and presented in charts and tables to facilitate the arrangement of findings and better visualization.
