SUMMARY:

Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation (HSCT) emerged as a possibility of clinical treatment in the late 1960s and presents itself as an established therapeutic strategy in contemporary times for a variety of malignant or non-malignant onco-hematological disorders, as well as diseases severe autoimmune, metabolic and inflammatory disorders that affect bone marrow functionality. The HSCT process involves not only the infusion of CPH, it comprises complex and elaborate steps that demand a systematized care management in order to reduce the risks and damages to the patient. During the stages of transplantation, the patient and his family member/caregiver need to stay in the city of the health service where the procedure will take place, especially after discharge for an indefinite follow-up at a Day Hospital. Thus, it is worth emphasizing the importance of guidelines for hospital discharge, with proper instrumentation of patients in relation to self-care and home care in all aspects of life in an uncontrolled environment. Therefore, discharge planning should be the focus of the nurse's assistance during the preparation of the patient for this specific moment of treatment, with the aim of training and enabling the patient to self-manage their care in order to minimize their doubts, anxiety and the risk of harm to your health. The Patient Expert Program is one of the strategies created to provide the subject with tools for the proper management of their health condition, through which they acquire skills for an active and leadership role through shared and collaborative management with professionals related to their health. health condition. In order to conduct health education in the training of Expert Patients, various types of technologies and methodologies can be used, including educational ones, with a view to systematizing scientific knowledge and clinical practice for whom it is intended as an instrument to facilitate essential information. to health self-care. In view of the above, the following research question is delimited: What should be the content and appearance of an educational technology for the training of an expert patient in the context of hematopoietic stem cell post-transplantation? For this, the general objective is to develop an educational technology for the training of the expert patient in the field of post-transplantation of hematopoietic stem cells. It is a methodological study with a mixed approach, aimed at the construction and validation of educational technology to support the training of expert patients in the post-HSCT context. For theoretical procedures, literature searches will be carried out through two scope reviews, as well as a focus group with nurses who work in the Bone Marrow Transplant sector at Hospital Rio Grande and nurses from the Primary Care of the Municipality of Natal/RN. For the empirical procedures, the reference of Pasquali et al. (2010) and the Suitability Assessment of Materials (SAM). In addition, the validation stage will have the participation of expert judges on the subject of this study, researched through the Lattes Platform and selected by applying the criteria of Fehring (1994). Finally, the analytical procedures will be carried out with the application of the Dephi technique, to be performed as many times as necessary, until reaching 80% agreement between the judges. The Research Protocol was approved in its ethical and methodological aspects by the Research Ethics Committee of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, under opinion 5,272,081 and CAAE: 55774621.5.0000.5537.
