SUMMARY:

The homeless population represents a prevalence of tuberculosis 67 times higher than the general population, always with a high incidence and abandonment rate. To meet the health needs of this population, the Ministry of Health created the Street Clinic (eCnaR) teams to expand the access of the homeless to health services. Thus, this research aims to evaluate the degree of implementation of office teams on the street that serves people with tuberculosis in the city of Natal. This is an evaluative health research of normative type, with quantitative and qualitative approach with emphasis on the degree of implementation of activities and the actions proposed by the primary care program in the Street Clinic team. It will be used as a theoretical methodological reference the health evaluation from the perspective of Avenis Donabedian and will be analyzed the structure and process dimensions. The study population will consist of 23 professionals who work directly or indirectly in the office team on the street. The inclusion criterion is professional linked to a Street Clinic team that have the Informed Consent (IC) and the Voice Recorded Authorization and Clearance. The data collection instrument will be structured in two parts, one for health managers and one for professionals working in the office team on the street. The research will follow the ethical precepts in research with humans described in National Health Council Resolution 466/2012. The quantitative data collected will be stored and processed in a computerized database through Microsoft Office Excel and Statistical Package for the Social Sciences ( SPSS) version 20.0 and the qualitative data will be recorded in audios, transcribed and the data organized with the aid of IRAMUTEQ (R interface for Multidimensional Analysis of Textes and Questionnaires). It is hoped with the study, to generate information that can collaborate in the decision making and to produce applicable knowledge for policy changes related to the performance of street office teams to the person with TB living in the street situation.
