RESUMO:

The objective of this study was to evaluate the residences in health in the scenarios of practices in primary health care in the state of Rio Grande do Norte. It is a mixed study, with a descriptive and analytical character, to be developed in the Basic Health Units field of the health residences located in the municipalities of Mossoró, Caicó and Currais Novos. Data collection will take place in two stages, coordinated with each other. The first will consist of a comparative analysis of the performance reports on the quality standards verified by external evaluators who visited the health/team professionals published by the Ministry of Health's Program for Improving Access and Quality of Primary Care. of the survey with users, workers and managers selected from the "snowball" sampling about the impact of residences on the work process. Qualitative data will be processed in the Iramuteq software and submitted to Bardim Content Analysis. Supported by the Brazilian legislation will follow the precepts of the Brazilian legislation regarding the subject the Resolution 466/2012 of the National Health Council of the Ministry of Health.
