RESUMO:

The advent of the new Communication and Information Technologies established the emergence of educational strategies presenting impacts in the world of work, a productive scenario for the realization of educational practices. The distance learning offered by Virtual Learning Environments (AVA) is an relevant educational strategy to the Permanent Education of Nurses, as it facilitates time flexibility, the transposition of geographical barriers and the possibility of digital inclusion. Thus, appeared the proposal for the construction and validation of an AVA based on the gap identified in a public health service for prevention and control of Urinary Tract infections. It was destined to improvement of the quality of service and patient safety. The purpose of this study is to describe the construction and validation of a Virtual Distance Learning Environment on Vesical Catheterization. This is a methodological study for the validation of a technology-mediated educational instrument. It was developed according to the theoretical framework of Pasquali's Psychometrics. The data collection will happen in two stages, the first will be in the development of the AVA and the second in the validation of the environment by judges, through the completion of a questionnaire, according to the Likert scale. For the evaluation of the content, the Content Validity Index technique will be used, which should indicate a concordance of at least 80% among the judges to consider the validated item. The research will follow the ethical precepts established by Resolution number 466/2012 of the National Health Council. Faced with the need for the construction and validation of teaching materials based on educational technologies. It is expected that the study contributes to the Permanent Education and strengthening of the Nursing within the health services.
