RESUMO:

The implementation of the nursing process in health services has grown with the use of information and communication technologies, through computerized systems. The production of these systems is the prerogative of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the National Policy of Hospital Attention and the Network Policy of Health Care that aim at its incorporation and qualification in the work process within the Unified Health System, based on a cohesive data framework with information that supports decision making in nursing care, producing results in patient care by reducing the time devoted to documentation and clinical data, as well as gaining the quality of the care provided. The study aims to develop and validate a software to operationalize the nursing process for patients with AIDS based on the Theory of Basic Human Needs. It is a methodological study and technological development. To do so, it will be carried out in four stages, namely: (1) construction of the instrument with the phases of the nursing process anchored in the Basic Human Needs Theory, using the NANDA International, Nursing Outcomes Classification and Nursing Interventions Classification taxonomies, to elaborate of the historical nursing item and the selection of nursing diagnoses, we opted for an integrative review of literature and documentary research, and the elaboration of the nursing care plan and nursing prescription will consist of the diagnoses previously listed using the Nursing Interventions Classification, item prognosis will be used to Nursing Outcomes Classification with support of nursing prescription and finally there will be a space destined for nurses to carry out the nursing evolution; (2) validation of the instrument with the phases of the nursing process using the Delphi technique, the coefficient of content validity will be used, where questions with coefficient> 0.8 will be considered acceptable; (3) software development will be according to the following steps: communication, planning, modeling, construction and delivery; (4) validation of the software through the requirements of the International Organization for Standardization and the International Electrotechnical Commission 25010, to evaluate the results will be used the evaluation scale for subcharacteristics recommended by the ISO-IEC 14598-6 ABNT standard adopting the value considered expected, or more than 70% of positive responses. It is emphasized that the study will be submitted to the Ethics Committee in Research with Human Beings of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte respecting Resolution 466/12. It is hoped to contribute to a qualified and safe nursing care for patients with AIDS.
