ASPECTS RELATED TO MENTAL HEALTH AND INFECTION TO HIV, TUBERCULOSIS, HEPATITIS AND SYPHILIS OF PERSONS IN STREET SITUATION

Introduction: Street people experience stigma, social exclusion and are more susceptible to vulnerability to diseases, such as those related to mental health, HIV, syphilis and tuberculosis. Objective: To analyze aspects related to mental health, HIV infection, tuberculosis, hepatitis and syphilis of people living in the street. Method: This is a transversal study to be carried out with 100 people in the street situation. The collection of data will be carried out at House of welcome of street People, located at Rua Capitão José Pessoa, number 65, in the neighborhood of Jaguaribe and at the Specialized Reference Center for Population in Situation of the Street (Creas Pop), located in the Rua Treze de Maio, 508 - Centro, João Pessoa, Paraíba, Brazil. Nine instruments will be used: sociodemographic; clinical data related to vulnerability to HIV, syphilis and tuberculosis; rapid tests for HIV, syphilis, hepatitis B and C; SRQ 20 scale for common mental disorders; Beck's Hopelessness Scale; Beck Anxiety Scale; Beck Depression Scale; Hamilton's Resilience Scale and Depression Scale, HIV / AIDS Vulnerability Questionnaire. The research will follow the ethical principles set forth in Resolution No. 466/2012 of the National Health Council regarding the Guidelines and Norms Regulating Research Involving Human Beings. Data will be collected in the form of interviews and clinical exams, with the expected time for each subject being 90 minutes. The data will be processed by the Statistical Package for Social Sciences version 19.0 and submitted to descriptive statistics with absolute and relative frequency, mean, standard deviation of the mean, maximum and minimum. To test the association between the variables will be used statistical tests considering significant when the value p≤0.05, such as Test t, Qui Quadrado, Kruskal Wallis.
