RESUMO:

Adolescence is the transition period between childhood and adult life, marked by various conflicts, modifications and discoveries. Among these discoveries is the first sexual intercourse, which has occurred earlier and more often than not, without proper guidance or protection. This has led adolescents to a situation of greater vulnerability to Sexually Transmitted Infections and to unplanned pregnancy. Despite the existing public policies directed to adolescent health, it is observed that the number of cases of sexually transmitted infections and unplanned pregnancies in adolescence, remain increasing. This evidences the need for educational actions that make it possible to link information to reflection, bringing knowledge closer to reality so that adolescents become active participants in their sexual health, motivating a continuous and permanent process of autonomy and learning, essential elements for the correct of decisions. The present study aims to: 1) Analyze the perceptions of adolescent students regarding a participatory educational action on sexual health; and 2) Identify the adolescents' knowledge about the behaviors related to their sexual health when participating in a participatory educational action. A descriptive and exploratory study of a qualitative approach, to be carried out in a state public school located in the city of Natal, State of Rio Grande do Norte. The study population will consist of regularly enrolled adolescents aged 10 to 19 years. The participatory educational action will consist of a group discussion of the sexual health information needs identified by the adolescents and implemented through an educational game. Data collection will take place in April and May 2018, in four 50-minute meetings. The data will be obtained through a semistructured questionnaire, sessions of application of the educational game, discussions in conversation wheels and direct observation of the researcher. The data will be subject to content analysis and descriptive statistics. The study is part of a larger research that proposes to create, implement and evaluate actions to promote adolescent health at school, approved by CAEE 73721217.8.0000.553, and will occur in accordance with the ethical aspects recommended in Resolution 466 / 12- CNS. From the study, it is hoped to contribute to the strengthening of the public policy focused on adolescent health and to the clinical reasoning of nurses, regarding the assistance provided to adolescents in the school environment.
