RESUMO:

It will be a cross-sectional study with the objective of cross-mapping the nursing diagnosis titles of people living with AIDS formulated according to the International Classification for Nursing Practice (ICNP®) with NANDA International diagnoses (NANDA-I), as well as to classify the diagnostic titles mapped according to the Basic Human Needs theory of Wanda de Aguiar Horta. The sample will be composed of 130 patients hospitalized with AIDS in a Hospital of infectious diseases in Natal/RN and 25 experts of the CIPE Center, located in João Pessoa /PB. After the nursing diagnoses for people living with AIDS of ICNP® and NANDA-I, the list of titles of nursing diagnoses created in the database of the program Microsoft Excel (Office 2013) for Microsoft Access For Windows. Then, two lists will be created, where the terms will be categorized into constants and not constants in ICNP ® and NANDA-I. Subsequently they will be submitted to a process of analysis using the criteria coming from Leal (2006) and the titles of diagnoses listed as not constant, will be classified as: similar, more comprehensive, more restricted, there is no agreement. Then the resulting titles will be classified according to the theory of basic human needs. The mapping products will be submitted to content validation. In order to do so, the concordance index equal to or greater than 0.80 will be considered among the experts. The project was approved by the Research Ethics Committee of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte with advice nº. 1.963.581 and presentation certificate for ethical assessment nº. 47380915.2.0000.5537. It is hoped that the study will contribute to the standardization of a common language to describe the nursing care of people living with AIDS, favoring data collection, information analysis, planning, implementation and evaluation of this care through standardized language, assisting in the decision making of nurses based on scientific knowledge.
