RESUMO:

This study aims to verify the stress levels and their impacts on the eating behavior of students during undergraduate Nursing. It is a cross-sectional, observational study with a quantitative approach to treatment and data analysis. The study will be conducted with 334 undergraduate students in the Nursing Department of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, linked to the Health Sciences Center, located at the University Campus in Natal, RN. The research uses the following instruments: Questionnaire survey of sociodemographic data, Stress Scale for Assessment in Nursing Students (SSANS) and Dutch Questionnaire of Feeding Behavior (DQFB). The aim of this research is reach the universe of students population enrolled from 1st to 9th period of undergraduate Nursing of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, enrolled in the semester of 2017.1. The selection of the periods is justified by the comparison between the levels and impacts of stress on students' eating behavior during undergraduate, in theoretical periods (1st to 3rd period) and in theoretical-practical periods (4th to 9th period). The results from this research may help in the development of actions that minimize the impacts of academic life, in view of the extreme importance of recognizing the aspects experienced by Nursing students.
