SUMMARY:

The presente day comprises a series of information focused mainly on the use of new technologies, cell phones, computers, social networks, applicatications for buying and selling products, dissemination, movie streaming, series and music, digital players and several others that maybe not yet it is possible to obtain knowledge. Faced with this updating process, the sertões, with their polysemic and multifaceted character, continue to be presented from the perspective of classical discourses, most of them linked to the Northeast region, as well as descriptions of the sertanejos/nordestinos. The constant update in finds itself does not seem to fit the category, in this sense “Capture” of the sertões on the network: a look at the contemporary sertões disseminated/viewed indigital media (2018-2020), aims to carry out a study about the presentations of the sertões in digital media, starting, with wide reach and visibility among students, capable of disseminating negative or positive images about the category. The use of social networks, with an emphasis on Instagram and a page called Raízes do Sertão, the investigation seeks to understand the images/landscapes of the sertão availabe in digital media. Thus, it can be seen that the contemporaneity of the sertões applies only to their dissemination in digital media as a place (Northeast sub-region), with dry characteristics, “autere” men due to ostentatious environment and the romanticization of certain aspects that reflect social inequality, but whicj are seen as beutiful.
