TELEPRACTICE IN WRITTEN LANGUAGE: PARENT GUIDANCE PROGRAM OF CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS WITH DYSLEXIA.

INTRODUCTION: With the emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, the Federal Council of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology expanded practices in Telephonoaudiology in Brazil. It is the exercise of the profession through information technologies, a practice that allows the connection of the therapist with the patient and with the family, which is important in the teaching-learning process of children with neurodevelopmental disorders to create management regarding strategies to be used for the development of the individual.
AIM: The general objective of the study is to analyze the influence of an intervention on parents of children and adolescents with dyslexia, through telepractice.
METHOD: This is a quantitative-qualitative, longitudinal, prospective study, in which 40 family members of children and adolescents diagnosed with dyslexia will participate. The group of parents will be submitted to an orientation program in written language via telepractice, in a synchronous and asynchronous format. A questionnaire with a beacon effect will be applied, pre and post-intervention, to compare the acquisition of knowledge and practices applied by family members.
EXPECTED RESULTS: Given the understanding of the importance of the role that the family plays in the development of the being in the social, emotional, and cognitive aspects, it is expected that, when properly oriented, it can actively contribute to the development of the written language of their children. and favoring the increase of evidence-based practices in the context of family literacy.
