SUMMARY:

Vaccination is an extremely important action for the immunological protection of human beings, and safe practices are necessary in this area.The objective is to develop an educational intervention on good practices in the vaccination room for the nursing team of the North I Health District in Natal/RN.An intervention study will be carried out, with a quasi-experimental design, with a quantitative approach.The study will be carried out in the Norte I health district, and the study population will consist of the nursing team from this district, with a convenience sample of 36 nursing professionals.The study will be comprised of three phases: Pre-intervention - a survey of participants' interest and learning needs about good practices in the vaccination room will be carried out, through an electronic questionnaire, using Google Forms;Intervention - will consist of implementing an educational intervention on good practices in the vaccination room for the nursing team, for two months, once a week, totaling eight meetings;Post-intervention - the post-test will be applied to the sample that participated in the training at the last meeting.Pre- and post-test data will be analyzed using the Pearson Correlation Coefficient test.This study will comply with the provisions of Resolution 466/2012, defining the guidelines and regulatory standards for research involving human beings and the provisions of the General Data Protection Law.It is hoped that through this study professionals can be trained and good practices in the vaccination room can be implemented by the nursing team.Furthermore, it is expected to contribute to Continuing Education and organization of the work process of the aforementioned services.
