Permanent Education in Health (EPS) is defined as learning at the service, so that the ways of learning and teaching are established in the daily work, based on expressive learning and the possibility of transforming professional practices. In this context, this study aims to analyze the performance of the Regional Centers of Permanent Education in the state of Rio Grande do Norte. This is a qualitative research, of the action-research type, to be carried out with health professionals responsible for the Permanent Education Center in seven Regional Health Units in Rio Grande do Norte. Data collection and production will take place in four stages. The first step will consist of a scope review in order to analyze the experiences of implementing Permanent Education in Health and the results achieved in the work processes in health services and regions for the consolidation of the permanent education policy in the Unified Health System. In order to agree on the next stages of the research, a workshop will be held with the professionals participating in the study to present the research and survey the research needs about the perspectives of collaborative interventions to improve work processes, fostering the debate on EPS in the regions. of state health. From this, individual interviews will be carried out to understand, from the perspective of professionals, the challenges and potential of the URSAPs for the implementation of Regional Centers for Permanent Education (NEPs). Based on the recognition and analysis of the performance diagnosis of the centers, an action plan for the Regional Centers of Permanent Education will be built, in a collaborative way in operative groups, with state managers and professionals working in the URSAPs, to promote the regionalization of the implementation of the National Policy on Permanent Education in Health. For data processing and organization, the Atlas ti version 9.0 qualitative analysis program will be used. It is hoped that the results of this research will allow the analysis of the performance of the Regional Centers of Permanent Education in Health in the URSAPs of the State of Rio Grande do Norte and to build an action plan for collaborative interventions that result in the improvement of the work processes of these spaces.
