The Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), is often presented as a concept that is changing the face of the industry in a very significant way, however, continuous improvements in the identification and automation of objects are required, these variants are known as speed, security and reliability, which are critical attributes for the industrial environment. The DFSA (Dynamic Framed Slotted ALOHA) is being widely adopted to solve collision (RFID) systems. According to the protocol, subsequent to the initial size of the frame is dynamically adjusted based on the number of labels that competed for slots in the previous frame. Intuitively, the accuracy of the estimator used can affect the performance of the identification label. Thus, several proposed estimators have been contributing to improve the accuracy of estimated labels, and thereby reducing the delay identification. However, to increase the performance of identification for a number of 10,000 labels, some estimators required a large computational cost that can be a challenge to perform such estimator. Thus, it has been proposed an extension of an estimator for it to be able to identify the number of labels without losing its efficiency. The results show that the proposed estimator achieves efficiency in the flow very close to ideal and 36.8% which is the maximum efficiency of DFSA protocol.
