RESUMO:

Over the past two decades, companies and governments have been investing more and  more resources on the Internet of Things (IoT). It is estimated that by the end of this decade, more than 34 billion devices will be connected to the network. The existence of that  much autonomous devices performing activities and interacting to solve tasks together,  makes necessary to find ways to evaluate and diagnose the functioning and behavior of  these devices. It is necessary to find techniques that can adapt the particularities of each  element individually, but also capable of evaluate the interaction and the behavior of the  nodes as a group. Multi-agent systems are distributed intelligence systems, that is, they  are a type of systems that use several basic elements (agents) that collaborate with each  other to reach a common goal. In this project, it is proposed the development of a multi-agent systems architecture to support IoT systems. This architecture should: be able to represent the IoT systems, as well as their interactions and collaborations; represent the  interaction of elements of IoT systems with elements (sites, services or devices) external to the system; and provide services, through its agents, that assist in the preventive  and / or corrective maintenance of the devices, analyze the behavior of observable system  variables, as well as the observed system behavior.
