VOLLEYBALL AND BALL GAMES: PLAYING WITH YOUR HANDS

Physical Education; Volleyball; Games and Games with hands; Sports Pedagogy.

This project presents a proposal of a research with students of a municipal
school of the State of Rio Grande do Norte, focused on the teaching-learning of
the sport Volleyball, starting from the principle of teaching games and family of
ball games with their hands, previous knowledge acquired by the students
themselves in their experiences coming from childhood when they played in
their homes, in the streets or in the squares, expanding sports experiences in
an educational way. Thus, in this work we bring as the general objective to
know and rescue the games and games of balls with existing hands in the daily
life of learners, relating them to the teaching and practice of volleyball.
Specifically, we have launched the proposal to build a primer that will teach
volleyball through games and hand games for students in the final years of
elementary school; to relate the games and ball games with the hands as
repertoire for the teaching of volleyball; and, finally, to present several ways and
practices of teaching volleyball from the games and games with the hands. As a
contribution of the theoretical framework we explain what is performance sport;
what is school sport; how the Pedagogy of Sport and Physical Education are
important for the sports culture of students, because Physical Education is the
most important discipline in the category body knowledge, mental and
psychological student. For the construction of the methodological trajectory, this
study will have a descriptive character, such as an experience report throughout
the Physical Education (PE) classes that will take place at the Escola
Presidente Costa e Silva Municipal, located in Equador, interior of Rio Grande
do Norte.
