Dance based on Rhythm in the Early Years: A didactic proposal for students from a public school in the city of Pacatuba/CE

Activities related to Dance despite being well accepted in schools from kindergarten to high school, it is possible to notice that this thematic unit is little discussed and explored in School Physical Education, although it can enable the development of the general objectives of Physical Education proposed since the PCN's . In view of this, the objective of this research is to experiment with a didactic proposal centered on the Thematic Unit - Dance, with a 4th grade class of the Initial Years of Elementary School in the municipality of Pacatuba/CE. The participants in the experience will be children from a 4th grade class (morning) at the Walney do Carmo Lopes School of Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education in the academic year of 2023, and will be carried out in the two months (March/April) of 2023. qualitative character, in a non-statistical way, through a descriptive experience report interpreting data observed in the teaching-learning process of a pedagogical sequence. The instruments for collecting data in the field research will be a pedagogical plan of action structured with eight moments, a field diary of the teacher-researcher and a portfolio of activities carried out by the students during classes. Participant observation with teaching and student records and analysis of guiding documents will be key elements for analyzing the developed pedagogical proposal. Data analysis will take place in the following steps: pre-analysis, material exploration, treatment of results, inference and interpretation of collected information.
