SPORTS WITH RACKETS: an intervention proposal in full-time public school.

Physical Education has sought its legitimacy and consolidation as a curricular component of the school, being essential the search for its organization from a pedagogical intentionality, allowing the students to know and experience the practices that compose the culture of movement. Recognizing the importance of diversifying and providing opportunities for new contents and methodologies in Physical Education classes at school, this work aims to apply and analyze a proposal for pedagogical intervention that enables the insertion of sports with rackets in an elective subject in a full-time school. With the development and evaluation of this didactic unit, I hope to contribute, discover, construct, and systematize tools to facilitate the treatment of the following racket sports: Field Tennis, Table Tennis, Beach Tennis, Badminton, Frescoball, Quimbol, and Speedball, and thus present the limits and possibilities that may be discovered and developed with the students through cooperative learning in the elective subject of racket sports. Thirty students from the 1st grade high school classes participate in this research, enrolled in the elective discipline of racket sports and who accept, by means of the appropriate terms, to participate in this study, which takes place at the Dom Antônio Campelo de Aragão Full Time High School. The construction of the work is based on a qualitative research proposal of the intervention type, that is, a participatory study characterized by the contribution of researcher and research subjects for the construction of solutions to the problems identified. The project was submitted to the Ethics Committee of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte - UFRN and registered on Plataforma Brasil, obtaining a favorable opinion.
