RESUMO:

We currently have the Adventure Body Practices (PCA) inserted as one of the movement culture thematic units in the national reference document for the Physical Education curriculum organization across the country, the Common National Curriculum Base (BNCC, 2017). Given this scenario, it was proposed for the curriculum of the municipal school system of Natal (RN) new arrangements in the distribution of thematic units throughout elementary school, including the PCA also for the 4th and 5th grade classes as a possibility to experiment with these body practices. for students already in the early years. Based on this new arrangement we aim to identify and analyze the limits and potentialities of Adventure Body Practice in the early years of elementary school based on the application of a systematized and contextualized pedagogical proposal for the 4th and 5th grade classes. The research will have a qualitative approach of the action research type. The population is made up of students from the João Paulo II Municipal School (Natal / RN) and as a sample we will have two classes, one from the 4th grade with 32 students, 17 girls and 15 boys, aged between 9 and 10 years and one from the 5th. year also with 32 students, 23 girls and 9 boys, aged between 10 and 12 years, both of the morning shift. Data will be collected during physical education classes of the third quarter. As a research instrument we elaborate a script of observation and evaluation of the classes, as well as recordings of photos and videos for later contribution in the data analysis, in addition to the didactic productions made by the students in classes. The research was approved by the Research Ethics Committee of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte and registered in Plataforma Brasil under No. 15855419.6.0000.5537, whose opinion is No. 3,479,729, dated August 1, 2019.
