PLANNING OF TEACHING ACTIVITIES: AN ANALYSIS OF THE IFRN PIBID-MATHEMATICS FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF THE BALL CYCLE
PIBID; Planning of Teaching Activities; Teaching Mathematics; Internal Policy Documents; Theory-Practice
The objective of this qualification exam text is to investigate the elements that emerge: from internal documents and from the implementation practice of the PIBID-Mathematics subproject at IFRN (Natal-Central campus). These refer to the planning of teaching activities carried out by the scholarship holders between 2023 and 2024. Furthermore, we seek to identify in the program's guiding documents the guidelines present for planning teaching activities; and examine their contexts, influence and contexts of the practice of initiation into teaching Mathematics within the scope of IFRN, taking into account the implementation relationship of these activities. To carry out this investigation, a survey was initially carried out in the CAPES Dissertations and Theses catalog, and the selected material was submitted to Content Analysis (Bardin, 2010). Subsequently, an analysis of the IFRN's internal policy documents was carried out, specifically the PIBID Institutional Project and the Mathematics Subproject, using the elements of the Ball Cycle (Ball, 1994) as a theoretical reference. Finally, a case study was conducted between 2022 and 2023 at the Escola Estadual Instituto Padre Miguelinho, in Natal/RN, where meetings to plan teaching activities organized by the Program's scholarship holders were observed. Graduates were interviewed to collect information. The partial results identified three main elements emerging from teaching plans: propositions about teaching and learning strategies; conceptual dialogues and pedagogical practices; stimulating scientific production and participation in academic events.
