THE SUBJECT OF WIND ENERGY IN SCHOOL GEOGRAPHY: proposal of a paradidático book.

This project of qualification follows as objective the construction of a paradidático book on the subject of Wind Energy for application in the Teaching of Geography. We have as methodology: analyze how the subject is approached in textbooks; To find together with the teachers how they work the theme in the classroom, what the difficulties and strategies; Research the development of the theme of Wind Energy; And seize the elements that will compose the book paradidático. The analyzes carried out so far reveal a fragmented and isolated approach to the theme of Wind Energy in relation to geographical knowledge and other themes of Geography. The lack of contextualization also makes up this set of problems that make the subject little explored, despite being one of the expanding activities, mainly in Rio Grande do Norte. Having as a theoretical basis the writings of Edgar Morin, understanding the systemic thinking in education, is the main idea is the reconnection of knowledge, where principles are used that point as a way to teaching the action of re-linking, in the sense of weaving Understanding the relationship between the global and the local, in order to promote relevant knowledge, ie, to make the teacher (mediator) provide the student with a multidimensional view on the subjects, presenting several Dialogue and building new knowledge. In this process, the use of different languages and practices is essential. In this way, the paradidático book is in the process of construction to be applied in two public high schools, in the cities of Ceará-Mirim-RN and João Câmara-RN. For this, a Proposal of Application is also presented.
