Harmonic Filter Design and Analysis for use in UFRN Substation
Current, Sizing, Harmonic Filters, Simulation.
The present work deals with the implementation and simulation in PSIM® software of the three most common types
of current harmonic filters, which are the passive, active filter, using the split-capacitor topology and the SRF method,
and hybrid, in the CTEC substation. (Engineering Technological Complex) at UFRN in order to improve the results
obtained in the harmonic analysis recorded in energy analyzer equipment and based on these results choose the
best filter type for this particular situation. In addition, the active and passive filter compensators are dimensioned,
and a general system analysis approached to simulate the most realistic system possible.
