SUMMARY:

This dissetation is situated within the scope of the Textual-Interactive Perspective (TIP), a theoretical proposal for the treatment of text that focuses on the regularities of textual processing forms and the mechanisms of textual organization. The treatment that TIP gives to the mechanisms of textual organization constitutes a theoretical design that develops around the concept of Discourse Markers (DM). We consider that this theoretical framework, formalized by Risso, Silva, and Urbano (2006), presents some limitations regarding: (1) the very definition of DM; (2) the mobilization of categories from other fields; (3) the use of the analysis category; and (4) the demonstration of the principles of conjugation and the gradient of formulation and interaction processes. Thus, this study has the general objective of proposing an alternative framework for the mechanisms of interactive textual organization, here conceived as Textual-Interactive Markers (TIM), based on a review of the TIP proposal for MD. To achieve this objective, we revisited the foundational texts that support the status of theoretical object for MD, focusing particularly on a review and discussion of the theoretical propositions. At the same time, we propose a bibliographic survey of studies on DM in order to observe how these studies mobilize the propositions of this theoretical framework. Finally, we conducted an analysis demonstration based on the alternative framework we propose, where we identify the textual-interactive functions of TIM, adhering to the principles of conjugation and the gradient of formulation and interaction processes. This research is of a theoretical nature, conducted through bibliographic research and qualitative treatment of linguistic data.
