The intersections of health technologies with Movement Culture have become increasingly evident, demonstrating the need to build a solid pedagogy that guides its insertion in school Physical Education. With the aim of problematizing the use of fitness applications by high school students, with the aim of promoting critical education on the topic of health mediated by technological devices and applications, the research adopted a qualitative approach and a case study in a pedagogical intervention at the Federal Institute of Science and Technology of Rio Grande do Norte, Parnamirim campus. With a sample of 80 students, the intervention followed two classes from the 4th year of the IT course, from the morning and afternoon shifts, which contributed to answering the question of how to use health technologies in a critical and pedagogical way in school Physical Education, anchored in hacker culture and media education to develop application projects from a broader health perspective.
