PLAYING IN THE INCLUSION OF STUDENTS WITH AUTISTIC SPECTRUM DISORDER (ASD) IN SCHOOL PHYSICAL EDUCATION IN THE EARLY YEARS OF ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

The present study brings a discussion about Playing in Physical Education classes and the inclusion of autistic students, with the general objective of investigating how Playing contributes to the inclusion of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in the initial years of Education. Fundamental during Physical Education classes. The target audience of the study are two students in the 3rd year of elementary school with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The analyzes and discussions of the results were carried out by the authors themselves, supported by their theoretical framework. The pedagogical strategies used during the study were the planning and application of a didactic unit respecting the contents proposed by the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC), dialogues with the class on the themes, the production of activities by the students themselves that occurred during the Physical Education class schedule and interviews with autistic students. We obtained as products the field diary with the perceptions obtained in each meeting, photographic records and transcriptions of interviews carried out with autistic students. Initial analyzes point to positive aspects regarding the inclusion of autistic students through play in Physical Education classes, however the research is still ongoing.
