This project aims to analyze academic production on conservatism in contemporary Brazil, identifying theoretical and political trends and their implications for the profession. The research is anchored in the Marxist tradition and will map theses, dissertations, and articles published between 2016 and 2022, a period of intensification of the structural crisis of capital and the rise of conservative forces in the country. The aim is to identify how this topic has been discussed through the lens of knowledge production, with a view to understanding its trends and implications for the professional ethical-political project.
