SUMMARY:

Introduction: Patient safety involves minimizing risks and promoting practices that prevent adverse events. In recent years, public policies have emphasized safety and quality of care.Thus, Pressure Injury is considered worldwide a serious and harmful adverse event, with significant repercussions on morbidity, mortality and quality of life of hospitalized patients, therefore it is necessary to act in this scenario.Objective: To build the content and appearance of a booklet for the prevention and treatment of Pressure Injury in a hospital environment.To analyze the scientific evidence about the guidelines aimed at the prevention and treatment of Pressure Injury in a hospital environment.To validate the booklet constructed, using criteria such as: clarity, relevance, consistency and practical applicability.Method: This is a mixed study (qualitative and quantitative) that will be carried out in three sequential and interdependent stages based on an integrative review of the literature, namely: Stage 1 - semi-structured interview in order to perceive the prior knowledge of nurses;Stage 2 - Convergent Care Research;and Stage 3 - Validation of the booklet content.The study will follow the Convergent Care Research method.The content validation stages will follow the steps suggested by Pasquali, based on the Delphi technique.Expected results: The aim is to develop an instrument in the form of a technology-mediated booklet for nursing, with didactic and accessible content, which will address effective strategies for the prevention and treatment of pressure injuries in a hospital environment.Furthermore, the aim is to contribute to expanding the knowledge of nursing professionals about good practices, enabling better adherence to prevention measures and providing greater knowledge about the treatments available.Furthermore, it is expected that the results obtained in this study can be expanded to other health institutions, contributing to the advancement of evidence-based nursing practice.In addition, it would enable an improvement in the quality of care provided by nursing to hospitalized patients.
