MENTAL HEALTH AND ILLNESS AT WORK: A LOOK AT PROFESSIONALS WHO WORK IN PRIVATE SPECIALIZED CARE

Realizing the importance and growing search for the topic of Mental Health, this study seeks to bring understanding of how the organization of the work process interferes with the health/illness process of workers in a specific health service. As well as, identify causes of illness among service workers; understand the workers' conception of their work process, and develop, based on the identified weaknesses, a Technical Technological Product “action plan” to contribute to health care practices that promote mental health. The health service environment is described, as well as the current reality. The research to be carried out will be qualitative, explanatory and applied in nature, which will investigate subjective reports from each subject in the work environment, understanding from these reports, the phenomenon studied, the causes that lead to stress and somatization among professionals. In view of this, we seek to achieve the objectives outlined in this research and bring expansions in the context of Mental Health and the work sector.
