SUMMARY:

This research investigates the importance of collaboration for teacher professional development, the role of school management, and digital technologies as facilitators. Implementing the BNCC and the reform of secondary education highlights the need to implement collaborative strategies for planning classes and projects. Considering the context of high school in the state of RN and the growing need for continuous teacher training, the research question is concerned with understanding how school management can encourage and support teacher collaborative work? The general objective is to develop a Collaborative Model of School Pedagogical Management that favors innovation in teaching planning. To this end, the theoretical framework sought contributions to school management in the works of Lück (2000, 2009), Libâneo (2012), Paro (2017a, 2017b), and Nóvoa (1995). About teaching collaboration and learning from social interaction in Vygotsky (1996) and Freire (2002, 1987), Nóvoa (2002, 2009), Niza (2012), Hargreaves and O'Connor (2018). As for the methodology, it is an exploratory study, predominantly qualitative and uses collaborative and documentary research as strategies. A systematic mapping of the literature was carried out, identifying collaborative strategies, benefits and difficulties for promoting collaborative work. Then, the diagnosis of inhibiting and facilitating factors of teaching collaborative work through questionnaires, documentary analysis of instruments and documents guiding planning and interviews with members of school management and representation of the teaching staff. Based on the analysis of this data and the theoretical foundation, a collaborative pedagogical management model was developed containing strategies, methods and tools to facilitate collaborative work. A collaborative evaluation of the model and application of a questionnaire was also carried out with the participation of members of school management and representatives of the teaching staff through a training workshop for teachers and managers. When evaluating the model, participants understood that the model is consistent with the reality of the school, considering possible strategies to be applied and seeing potential in their implementation. Regarding the evaluation of the workshop, it can be seen that it managed to boost a collaborative movement based on a collective and reflective look at the subjects who make up the school, their relationships and problems. As a product, a guide with guidelines for school managers was proposed. The research contributes to creating good practices in collaborative school management, stimulating a more participatory environment, and reflecting on the collective's potential in building a quality public school.
