Use of mini cases in Religious Education
Active methodologies, mini cases, religious teaching.
Religious Education was inserted in the BNCC with the aim of guiding students in building personal meanings of life based on values, ethical principles and citizenship. It is a compulsory course, but optional registration. Therefore, the teacher can use methodologies that make the class more attractive and dynamic, which provide reflection and student participation, both to attract students and to facilitate the teaching and learning process. This study aims to analyze the training of teachers to use mini cases in the pedagogical practice of confessional teaching. The methodology used is qualitative, consisting of making a sequence of mini cases applied in a teacher training course, as well as applying a questionnaire with open questions about the training course and the use of mini cases and, finally, construction of the guide for producing educational content based on the use of mini cases. The study is expected to produce a guide for the production of educational content that will help Religious Education teachers in the development and application of mini cases, to streamline classes and increase student engagement.
