Teacher training; pedagogical coordinator; digital tecnologies; digital literacy
This research proposes to reflect on the importance of digital technologies in the training of the pedagogical coordinator, in view of the need for this professional to appropriate digital tools for use in their practice with teachers. This problem emerged, in a striking way, during the COVID 19 pandemic, which highlighted the need to master these digital tools, from the perspective of digital literacy, in teaching. In view of this scenario, our general objective is to analyze the impact of continuing education on the use of digital technologies in the teaching of the pedagogical coordinator of CODEI/SEMEC. This is a qualitative research with characteristics of an action research, having as research subjects the pedagogical coordinators of the municipal network of Parnamirim - Rio Grande do Norte. As a theoretical basis we used authors such as BUZATO (2006), FORMOSINHO (2002), PIMENTA (1996), SARMENTO (2000) among others. The research action took place during and with the continuing training “Use of Digital Tools in the Training of the Pedagogical Coordinator of Early Childhood Education”, developed as an extension project, with a workload of 40 hours, which certified 35 participants. Data from this research were collected through electronic questionnaires, video recordings, testimonies during and after training. Based on the data initially collected, we verified the need for training as a means of re-signifying the pedagogical practice.
