CUSTOMIZATION OF THE DIGITAL PLATFORM SCHOOLS IN THE NETWORK IN RIO GRANDE DO NORTE: CHALLENGES AND POTENTIALITIES

This work of Master Dissertation brought to the field of research in Education the discussion of the platform “Escolas na Rede” in the State of Rio Grande do Norte (RN), in a partnership with the “Escola Digital”, and had as a cut the customization of the platform, identified as object of study. Specifically, it discussed about educational technology (LITWIN, 1997) in the field of public policies in education, digital information and communication technologies and their articulation with the school curriculum (ALMEIDA and VALENTE, 2011; PRADO 2005; KENSKY, 2005; FAGUNDES e FLORES, 2014) the virtual learning environments (VALENTINI and SOARES, 2010; ANJOS, 2012), learning objects (WILLEY, 2000; AGUIAR and FLORES, 2014) and digital learning objects (SCHWARZELMÜLLER and ORNELLAS, 2006). It was observed that the challenges of the personalization process within the scope of the State Secretary of Education and Culture - SEEC/RN, identifying as potentialities of this tool for the proposition of a new dynamics of the school curriculum with the use of TDIC in the state education network. The methodological course adopted a qualitative approach (MINAYO, 1994; BOGDAN and BIIKLEN, 1994), presented characteristics of the exploratory research and nuances of the case study (YIN, 2001, 2005; PAIVA, 2004). As a researcher in the own field of activity, she used procedures and records of the practice, official documents, observations. The methodological tools were: questionnaires, interviews and field notes. At the moment, we point out as a result, among the challenges of customization, the small pedagogical team to organize the digital learning object (DLO) filters by stages, years and modalities. Regarding the potential, we see the platform as a search space that combines DLO cured by specialists, which are available in a single place, in support of the teaching and learning process of the state network of education of the RN.
