THE INTERACTIVE DIGITAL BOARD AND LEARNING OBJECTS AS POTENTIAL RESOURCES AT THE NUMBER CONCEPT CONSTRUCTION IN A LITERACY MATHEMATICAL PERSPECTIVE
Interactive Digital Board. Learning Objects. Mathematical Literacy. Number concept.
This master's research project aims to analyse how the Interactive Digital Board (IDB) alongside with Learning Objects (LOs) can contribute to potencialize to First grade students of Elementary School to build the concept of a number, in a mathematical literacy perspective, in a public school located in Natal. The methodological process of analysis will be held through active observation between teacher-students, in this case, the teacher is also the researcher in this work, during classes organized in didactical sequences. In this process, the students will be in contact with IDB and OLs that include abilities and competences in the number concept field. In these activities, the researcher, through the process of learning and teaching with the students, in a action-research perspective, will analyse the contribution of the digital resource in the progress of the number concept with 1st grade students. It will be considered the relations of interaction (student-student) and interactivity (digital resource-students) as well as the collaboration between the subjects involved. Nevertheless, the researcher will be conducting her pedagogical practice with the class involved the research. The master’s essay will have as its theoretical support some authors who attend digital technologies, IDB and OLs, such as Kalinke (2015), Gomes (2012), Kozak (2015), Lévy (2000), Willey (2008), Aguiar and Flôres (2014). In terms of concepts directed to the teaching of mathematics, there will be theorists such as Lorenzato (2010), Galvão and Nacarato (2014), Kamii (2005), National Standard Curricular Basis - BNCC (2017), PNAIC (2014) among others. With this dissertation, we propose in addition to raise the importance of using the existent digital resources in public schools of Natal/RN, especially, the IDBs, providing innovative methodologies in the teaching and learning process.
