Spaces for drawing teaching and learning: study of the artistic drawing teaching environment at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte
Drawing teaching Environment. Assessment of the built environment. Person-environment relationship. Drawing teaching.
The research analyzes the artistic drawing classrooms at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) having as object of study the relation between the environmental architectural aspects (ergonomics, ventilation, lighting, color of the environment) and the teaching and learning. of drawing practice. Four theoretical axes are being studied to conceptually ground the research: the first axis is the person-environment relationship and the understanding of how the projected environment influences on-site activities, as the educational environment plays a crucial role in the development of creativity, or often in their lack of development; The second axis is the educational architecture project, in an attempt to understand what are the main human and organizational aspects that influence the development of users; The third axis is the drawing as a material phenomenon and process of creation, in order to understand the needs of the end activity performed in classrooms, whether these are physical or organizational characteristics; Finally, the fourth axis will study the Assessment of the built environment and its contribution to the architectural programming. This methodological theorist will present the aspects of the architectural quality to be evaluated, which will be highlighted for the future contribution to designers. In order to exemplify the theory and the applicability of the evaluation procedures will be studied directly the drawing classrooms of UFRN visual arts, design and architecture courses.
