TEACHER KNOWLEDGE IN PHYSICAL EDUCATION: an analysis of teaching practices
Practice Analysis. Continued Training. Teacher Education.
It is known that studies in and about continuing education programs contribute to the professional development of teachers. And, one technique that is understood to be of great use to teachers in these continuing education programs is the Practice Analysis method, since by reflecting on their practices, teachers can develop a critical reflective attitude, questioning and improving their methodologies and pedagogical approaches. Therefore, the importance of Professional Master's Degrees is highlighted, as they aim to train teachers who seek to improve their professional practice in their daily lives in the respective educational institutions where they work. Therefore, the present study aims to identify and understand how teaching knowledge from professional training, disciplinary, curricular and experiential knowledge is mobilized in teaching based on the analysis of the practices of school physical education teachers in their respective work environments. Regarding the investigative path, the proposed research will be characterized by the interpretative qualitative method, through autoethnographic narrative and will be carried out with seven physical education teachers from the municipal basic education networks of two municipalities in the Sertao region of Paraiba. The participating teachers must complete two research instruments, namely: a lesson plan and a reflection form. After completing these instruments, virtual meetings will take place with the purpose of discussing and analyzing the practices based on the preparation of these two documents mentioned. Regarding the treatment of the data obtained, this will be done through Content Analysis according to Maria Laura Franco.
