SUMMARY:

The present work seeks to relate the active education and the rapid prototyping tools in order to add to the teaching and development of young people and children. Initially, it sought to explain the guidelines present in active education, through its history and composition, and also the rapid prototyping tools, such as electronic boards, which allow the use of the concepts of active education, theory and practice applied to problems of everyday life. However, the study has its core in understanding and profiling the students who seek this knowledge, in order to provide a framework of data to foster more training directed to these platforms. For this, a methodology was proposed using the Arduino platform as a propellant for the dissemination of prototyping concepts, due to its char- acteristic of easy use and access, through extension courses, designed to meet the initial levels of knowledge in the area, encompassing both theoretical and practical concepts, As proposed in active education, to provide qualitative data from students, through forms, and from these and, concomitantly, with the observation analysis of the researcher, to characterize the profile of students and improve the methodologies that are being used today.
