A propose of new topology of the medium voltage distribution system of the UFRN Central Campus after the new 69 kV subestation began to operate
Energy distribution network; Medium voltage; Network reconfiguration.
In recent years the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte - UFRN has undergone a process of development and growth, with the construction of new buildings and laboratories in its Central Campus. With this, it becomes necessary to adjust the energy distribution network so that it can adequately satisfy the new demand. This work has the initial objective of analyzing the current topology of the energy distribution network of the UFRN Central Campus, and then proposes a reconfiguration of the energy distribution network so that any interruption of energy in the network reaches the smallest number of possible consumers. Computational simulations will be performed in order to analyze the current situation of the energy distribution network in case of a defect and, from there, to carry out the reconfiguration project. Two models will be proposed, both respecting the “Plano Diretor do Campus Central – PD Campus”, which has the intention of presenting alternatives to recover the possible loads due to a defect or maintenance in the network.
